Carrie Wolinetz, Ph.D.

We are excited to announce Carrie Wolinetz, Ph.D., will be joining Lewis-Burke Associates LLC.  Carrie has over two decades in policy and advocacy positions.  She spent the past 8 years serving in roles at the NIH and White House, including as NIH Associate Director for Science Policy, Acting Chief of Staff to the NIH Director, and Deputy Director for Health and Life Sciences within the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP).  Prior to her tenure in government, Carrie advocated on behalf of research universities and biomedical research organizations.  As a Principal and Chair of the firm’s new Health and Bioscience Innovation Policy Practice Group, Carrie, in concert with existing Lewis-Burke experts, will be working across the research and healthcare communities towards effective solutions in areas of health policy, health systems readiness & response, the bioscience ecosystem of the future, and efforts to accelerate biomedical innovation.  We believe her expertise and experience will be invaluable to advocating for the public policy interests of our clients.  Please join us in welcoming Carrie.
